Dear members of the Columbia community,
This morning, Columbia University websites, and many other websites globally, were experiencing intermittent outages caused by a widespread issue with a web services vendor called Cloudflare. This Cloudflare outage affected access to the University’s Columbia.edu domain and some services attached to our domain. Some Cloudflare services have been restored, however, there may continue to be residual impacts on our IT services as a result.
Columbia CUIT is continuing to closely monitor the situation and will provide updates to our community as they become available. As a reminder, a complete list of CUIT Service Alerts can be found at: cuitalerts.columbia.edu. Members of our community can also contact the CUIT Service Desk (212-854-1919) to ask questions or report an issue.
Classroom course materials continue to be available through the Courseworks site.
