We are aware of a scheduled off-campus gathering this evening protesting an event hosted by a recognized student group. We have reached out to the recognized student group and are providing additional support for their event. While the University supports the right of individuals to peacefully protest, we will state again that any individuals or organizations of any sort that promote violence or encourage disruptions of our academic mission are not welcome on our campuses, and the University will not engage with them. We also reiterate that doxing, targeting, or harassing individual members of the Columbia community is prohibited by our policies.
