Webinar: “Visualizing Science: Persuasive Storytelling”

Thursday, Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Piles of psychological research literature tell us what we already know: humans are terrible at decision-making. We don’t really use reasoning. We don’t really consult the data. Most of our decisions are based on emotions and gut instinct. So how can you communicate data with policy-makers, business leaders, the public, and anyone else who needs to be persuaded to accept and possibly act on research? In this talk, we’ll cover some key insights from persuasion science and how we can leverage storytelling and data visualization to maximize our impact.

Presentations by:

Bill Shander, Founder of Beehive Media

Eleanor Lutz, Graphics Editor at The New York Times
