Strategic Communications Planning is a seminar-style interactive course where participants explore the theory and process of organizing a plan.
- Begins Friday, October 7th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
- Class meets virtually via Zoom once a week for about 8 weeks (includes makeup)
- Each session includes a topical presentation, an in-class exercise and open discussion
Track A: Strategic Communication Basics
This track requires a 1-hour weekly time commitment for 7 weeks. Participants in this track will attend weekly course sessions, and they will have the opportunity to visit office hours. This track does not involve any homework. Participants will learn about strategic communications basics, including the elements that comprise strategic communications: situation analysis, goals, strategy, tactics, metrics, and evaluation.
