Deborah G. Sack
Deborah Sack is Vice President for Operations in Columbia University's Office of Public Affairs, where she oversees human resources, financial management, and administrative operations across the office — from hiring and onboarding to budget oversight and change management.
Deb also stewards several community programs, including the A'Lelia Bundles Community Scholars Program, event sponsorships for community-based organizations, university-wide blood and bone marrow drives, and Columbia Community Service, the faculty and staff charitable giving program that supports nearly 50 nonprofit organizations in Harlem and Morningside Heights through grants, in-kind contributions, and volunteer engagement.
Earlier in her tenure at Columbia, Deb served as Vice President for Strategic Communications in the Office of Communications, where she led the digital, editorial, and creative teams. Prior to Columbia, she held leadership roles at Hunter College, DealTime.com, and MasterCard International. Deb holds a BA in Government from Pomona College
