Administration and Operations

The Administration and Operations team provides human resources and financial and administrative support to the nearly 50 people who make up the Office of Public Affairs. We are responsible for the public affairs operating budget, procurement, vendor management, travel and business expense management, accounts payable and recoveries, human resources, employee engagement, change management, and space planning.

In addition, we support community programs, including the A’lelia Bundles Scholars Program, sponsorship through the purchase of tickets and tables, and  Columbia Community Service, the University’s faculty and staff charitable giving campaign that aids more than 50 nonprofit organizations in Harlem and Morningside Heights through financial grants, in-kind contributions, and volunteerism.
